About Demitrius Motion Bullock

Demitrius Motion Bullock DEMITRIUS MOTION BULLOCK:

Born and raised in the Bronx, NY as a self-taught artist, I’ve always seen life differently than other people. This I express through my art. I enjoy stretching the limits of reality and the art that I’ve created revolves around what and where I grew up; NY urban culture with a touch of fantasy and futuristic elements. From the age of 5 my love of art began from watching the graffiti images go by my apartment window on the NYC subway. I began to draw and create my own characters and comic book art from a vivid imagination which has helped to enhance my skills in drawing. My art continues to grow and evolve to what is now shown here.

Through the use of watercolor, pen and ink and various other mediums I’ve been able to bring my imagination forth for everyone to see and share.
I attended Graphic and Communications Art HS in New York and furthered my art education at Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

My professional work includes a commissioned wall art for 9/11 through the NYC Transit Authority, logo creations for musical artists such as Grandmaster Flash and JK Percussions and various other commissioned projects. My range of work includes, commissioned book cover and inside illustrations for adult graphic novel Duppy, and children's books, Album and CD cover designs, Business cards and Logos, Commissioned Wall Murals, Original concept tattoos, Clothing designs, Flyers, Personal portraits, Cartoon Story Boarding, and Technical Drawing. I create freehand illustrations of all kind, specializing in cartooning and science fiction concepts. My current works in progress include a comic strip illustration for original characters and graphic novels.

In addition to the commissioned work above I also presented personal pieces of my work at festivals and art shows in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York, and illustrated and published children's books titled: Where Can I Color, The Hungry Kid, and Tony Bibbles, Household Detective, which are all available on Amazon/Books.
